2010
Blomfield officially launches MBI Automation after developing the business part time and on the side.
2011
MBI Automation rents its first space, a 1,500-square-foot facility in Wyoming, Mi.
2012
The company hires its first full-time Controls Engineer.
2014
MBI Automation doubles its rental space to meet increased demand for its repair and servicing.
2017
The company picks up momentum and increases its staff to have three full-time Controls Engineers.
2019
MBI Automation embarks on a strategic planning process and hires its first non-engineering position to focus on business development and sales.
2020
Additional non-engineering positions are created to support the company’s growth. The company’s staff now includes a repair specialist and office manager.
2020
MBI Automation purchases its own 7,800-square-foot facility and moves its operation there.
2022
The company continues to grow and fulfill its commitment to customers.
